New Jersey
Scope: Inspection/maintenance/repair on subsea assets; light intervention; tooling swaps.
You have: BOSIET/FOET, HUET, TWIC, valid offshore medical; 500+ piloting hours preferred.
Nice to have: Fiber-optic terminations, hydraulic troubleshooting, Sonardyne/USBL familiarity.

What to Expect Onboard
Safety first:
Daily toolbox talks, JSAs, stop-work authority for everyone.

Shift pattern:
12-hour shifts (day/night), handovers at the spread, clear task ownership.

Living:
Shared cabins, galley meals, limited connectivity, laundry service.

Work rhythm:
Pre-dive checks, launch/recovery, piloting or maintenance, reporting & debrief.

Pay cadence:
Day-rate with mobilization/demob terms; per diems and travel policies vary by client.

Day-in-the-Life: 
ROV Pilot (Work-Class) Pre-dive inspections, launch with LARS team.

Pilot tasks:
tracking, manip work, tooling changes, live comms with bridge and client rep.

Post-dive:
logbook entries, video stills, anomalies/defects, handover to next shift.ROV Technician (ET/Mech)Morning checks: power, comms, sensors, cameras, lighting, hydraulics.

Troubleshoot faults (electrical/fiber/hydraulic), manage spares, document fixes.

Support deck ops, ensure the spread is safe and ready.

Rotations & Leave
Common rotations: 14/14, 21/21, 28/28 depending on project and location.

Travel usually paid or reimbursed per client policy; details confirmed before mobilization.
